The scientific process that appends the phone numbers that we dial for our surveys includes exchanges for home telephone numbers and cell phone numbers. Now that home telephone numbers can be reassigned to cell phones, we also sometimes reach a cell phone number in this way as well.

If your survey package hasn't arrived within a week after speaking with our telephone researcher, or receiving an alert postcard, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
That all depends on you. If you use a lot of products and services then it may take you a little longer. Some questions are designed for everyone, while others are specific to either the men or the women in your household. We do not expect you to complete these surveys in one day! Our respondents have told us that by taking ten to fifteen minutes each day, they are able to complete these surveys and mail them back to us within about two weeks. We think you will find that completing the surveys is enjoyable and informative.
Each member of the household will receive a Personal survey to complete. That way, every member of the family will have the opportunity to give their opinions on the products they use, the sports and activities they participate in, and what they read and watch. In addition, each household also receives one household survey where we ask about the products people buy for the entire household (i.e. automobiles, appliances, etc.). The Household survey is sent to the person who spoke with our telephone researcher or filled out a short survey in the mail. We recommend that all the members of your household help complete the Household survey.

We understand that every home is different. Different people participate in different activities and use different products. That is why your participation is so valuable to our research. We are interested in learning about everyone's opinions, including yours.
There are two survey processing centers - one in Florida and another in New York. We send and receive mail from both of our survey processing centers. You may be receiving mail from one location, while returning to another.
We apologize. Sometimes our sample selection process indicates that there is a high incidence of Hispanic families in your community. If you were selected for the study, we want to hear from you regardless of the survey you received. We hope you will take the opportunity to participate and make your voice heard.
The barcode is designed to eliminate the need for manual data entry and possible errors. The barcode ensures the quality of our research data as well as your privacy.
We can only include households which were randomly selected by computer for our survey sample. We follow a very scientific process to select our households for the National Consumer Survey and unfortunately, we cannot substitute any other households.
